Breathing practices are usually gentle, but they can still feel intense if you push too hard. Please practise at your own pace and stop if you feel dizzy, faint, breathless or distressed.
If you live with high blood pressure, heart disease, pregnancy, severe anxiety or respiratory illness, it is safer to ask a doctor which techniques are suitable for you before doing strong breath holds or rapid breathing.
