Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, never sell your data, and never store your IP address in our analytics.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how many people the site helps, we set a random first-party cookie (bfc_uid) that identifies your browser — not you. With it we record anonymously:

  • pages viewed, the referring website (domain only), device type (mobile/tablet/desktop) and time zone;
  • breathing sessions started and their length;
  • your optional before/after mood rating (a number from 1–5).

We do not store IP addresses, names or any personal identifiers with these statistics.

Data stored only on your device

Your theme, player settings and practice history (shown on My Practice) are saved in your browser’s local storage and never leave your device. You can clear them at any time.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and the page you subscribed from. We may use Brevo (Sendinblue) to send emails; Brevo processes your email on our behalf. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Contact form

Messages you send us (name, email, message) are stored securely so we can reply. We do not share them.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. See how Google uses data from partner sites.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your newsletter subscription or contact messages via our contact page. You can delete anonymous cookies and local data through your browser settings.

Children

Our content is suitable for general audiences, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
